Magdalena is a very fluffy bun and is part of traditional Guatemalan desserts. It is very popular in Guatemalan cuisine for its sweetness and delicious touch of orange flavor, ideal for dessert after lunch or in the afternoon with coffee.

This simple but delicious cake has a curious circular shape that we all love, in fact, it would be very strange to find a Guatemalan who does not like it. It is commonly enjoyed cold, but you can also warm it up and accompany it with a cup of coffee, or maybe a scoop of ice cream or even orange or strawberry jam. Simply Delicious!
